Chairman of the National Investment Commission
Her Excellency was appointed as the Chairman of the National Investment Commission on 15/9/2020.
Her Excellency received MSc. Masters in Economics and MSc. Masters in Finance from University of London, Birkbeck (1991-1993).
Prior to joining the National Investment Commission, Her Excellency served as founder and chief executive officer of AKKADIA Partners-Boutique advisory and asset management, She was a member of Iraq prime minister advisory committee for reconstructing and rehabilitating the industrial sector in Iraq.
Her Excellency worked with the World Bank and International Financing Corporation to identify and evaluate lending opportunities in Iraq, She also conducted an extensive research and valuation of the Banking Sector in Iraq.
During the period (2007-2010), Her Excellency occupied the position of founding partner of Pharos holding-Egyptian investment bank , She was also appointed as the Director of the National Bank of Kuwait (2004-2007).
Her Excellency held the position of Head of middle east and north Africa Equity Division (1997-2003), during (1994-1996), She was the financial analyst of JP Morgan (Robert Flemings).
